I’m home alone this morning, but spent last evening with a good friend and his extended family, and was welcomed with open arms. I wasn’t the only stranger there, as most of their family takes in exchange students from China, India etc. And they joined right in the celebration. Today I’ve been invited to have dinner with my old room-mates (well, actually, they’ve asked me to come and teach them how to cook the turkey lol) I sent some gifts off to some long-distance friends, and have already had Christmas messages back. Had a big breakfast, found some decent coffee at a gas station/convenience store that’s open, and I’m just going to sit and listen to Christmas music. Even though I’m alone, I’ve experienced more love and joy this year than I have in the past few. Saying that in a positive way. It’s good to enjoy the season again. I’m not fully content, but I’m getting there.Best wishes to all!
